The annual conference of the International Security Association was held at the Megatrend University amphitheater in Belgrade. The name of the Conference was "Safety Challenges in the 21st Century", and lecturers from Serbia, Romania and Switzerland dealt with 10 topics.

The conference was attended, among others, by Philippe Jean Michel DELSOL, Lieutenant Colonel, Defense Attache at the Embassy of France, Flavius ​​Cosmin HALACESCU, consultant at the Embassy of Romania. The presentations at the Conference were followed by the representatives of the company Leonardo S.p.A. Lectures were attended by 100 students of Megatrend University, as well as a number of students at the Faculty of Security of the University of Belgrade.

After the welcome speech by Aleksandar Manic, ISA President, the audience was greeted by Dragan ĐURĐEVIĆ, Deputy Rector of the Megatrend University.

At the Conference, the most current topics, the problem of terrorism, technological crime, were dealt with, dealing with the safe resolution of the crisis situations in Kosovo and Metohija, on the medical care of victims of mass casualties. Fundamentalism, extremism and radicalism have been processed from a psychological and security basis.
The lecturers were: Liviu MATEESCU, Catalin TANASESCU, Mirce CIORDAS from Romania, Bas SANTER from Switzerland, Tomislav RADOVIĆ, Veroljub PETRONIĆ, Slobodan SPASIĆ, Andrej PROTIĆ, Dalibor JOVANOVIĆ and Miljan JOVIĆ.

During the Conference, Liviu MATEESCU, the President of the Romanian Association for Technique and Security ARTS, Alexander MANIC, president of the ISA, presented the Plaque with a successful cooperation.

The general impression of the participants at the end of the Conference was that the lectures were concise and concrete, and that the choice of topics and the way in which they were processed met the expectations.
